What Does Black Flame Do in Elden Ring?
Black Flame is a Godskin Apostle Incantation that lets you fire an explosive black fireball that deals quite a lot of damage to your enemies. Moreover, it also deals Fire damage over time!You will need 20 Faith to use Black Flame, which will only cost 15 Focus Points. You can also get a powerful Seal, Godslayer's Seal, as well as fairly early in the game - here it is.
How to Obtain Black Flame Magic and Godkiller Seal – Location + Map
You can obtain the Black Flame spell by giving Brother Corhyn a Godskin Prayer Book. You will also receive a wonderful Holy Seal. Here's how to do it!
- First you will need to obtain the Godskin Prayerbook in Stormveil Castle.
- Get a Stone Sword Key and go to the Liftside Chamber Site of Grace
- Enter the courtyard and head south and descend the stairs that lead to the underground.
- Kill 3 mice in the room in front of you and use your Stone Sword Key on the fog door.
- Behind this fog door is a chest with the Godskin Prayer Book.
- Next, take the Godskin Prayer Book to Brother Corhyn. Depending on how far you go in the story, it will either be at Roundtable Hold north of Altus Highway Junction on the Altus Plateau, or outside the Colosseum at Royal Capital, Leyndell.
- Giving the Godskin Prayer Book to Brother Corhyn will teach you Black Flame Magic!
