Elden Ring: Where to Find the Astel Meteorite – Overpowered Spell

If you're looking for a spell that can completely eliminate a boss in a single cast, look no further than the Meteorite of Astel in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring seems to focus heavily on magic in a way no other Souls game has done before. While previous entries in the franchise have seen players be able to cast powerful spells, the variety and power of magic in Elden Ring is truly unmatched.

While you don't even need to touch the stealth arts in some of Elden Ring's more melee-focused classes, we always recommend putting a dot or two on Mind and Intelligence.

Meteorite of Astel Spell Position in Elden Ring

  • To obtain the Astel Meteorite, you must first reach the Mountain Peaks of the Giants
  • From Grace's Inner Blessed Snowfield, head straight West to the Yelough Anix Ruins and continue until you reach the cliff edge.
  • Head down a little further to the east and you'll see a Catacombs to explore known as the Yelough Anix Tunnel.

  • Get inside, go down the elevator and relax at Grace Estate.
  • Make your way through the dungeon of the Yelough Anix Tunnel. The easiest way is to go down the tunnel until you see a drop on your left.
  • Go down, then go south through the tunnel and follow the path until you reach a ladder. Go up, then go up the second staircase.

  • Head down the tunnel in front of you and don't miss the secret path to the South as you enter the adjacent room. Follow the path west and open the wooden door for an easy return to the boss fight.
Still, it's worth your time to take down the toughest foe. Ultimately, doing so will reward you with Astel Meteorite, a spell that lets you rain meteor showers on your enemies until your FP goes out.
