How to find Bloodhound Claws in Elden Ring?

Like the Crystalian mini-bosses, Bloodhound Claws are optional bosses that players can encounter in different areas in the Elden Ring . The most notable Bloodhound Knight is the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil.

It's a tough challenge to say the least, and it's designed to keep players disoriented and on their toes. The way Bloodhound Knights move is both agile and aggressive, and to make things worse, they have the ability to teleport.

Bloodhound Knights all have the same Bloodhound Fang and Bloodhound Claws. Darriwil drops the sword, while the other Bloodhound Knight drops Bloodhound Claws. Here's where to find them.

Elden Ring: Loot Bloodhound Claws from the Bloodhound Knight at Volcano Manor

To get the Bloodhound Claws back, you'll need to defeat the Bloodhound Knight located at Volcano Manor. This means reaching the Altus Plateau in the Elden Ring, which has very complex tasks to complete before reaching the area.

Volcano Manor is located in the northwest region of the Altus Plateau, along the coast, among a lava lake (hence the name). Inside is Tanith, the head of the mansion. To reach the Bloodhound Knight, stand facing Tanith and turn your back on him.

Walk straight until you reach the corridor on your right. Go to the first room on the right. There is a corpse in the corner of the room. There is an imaginary wall behind which you can roll. This will mess up the wall and reveal a hidden basement.

While this Bloodhound Knight isn't technically a boss fight, the Bloodhound Knight will use every skill related to Darriwil. He usually chains three attacks together, sometimes wielding his sword and claws in quick succession. And most importantly, a teleport ability that closes the gap if you get too far from it.

Drops Bloodhound Claws when the Bloodhound Knight dies. They scale both Strength and Dexterity, but the latter is more. Bloodhound Claws requires 10 Powers and 15 Skills to use in Elden Ring and can be upgraded with Ashes of War and regular Smithing Stones.
