List of new features in PUBG Mobile 1.9 update: Classic mode changes, Supply Store upgrade and more

PUBG Mobile players can finally enjoy the expected 1.9 update on Android and iOS mobile devices. As the fourth anniversary of the Battle Royale game is approaching, players can enjoy many events revolving around the anniversary celebrations.

From the new air battlefield to Supply Store upgrades, the latest update brings a few exciting features. Here are some of the best that players can expect the most in a battle royale game.

New features in PUBG Mobile 1.9 update

1) Anniversary Event

You can enjoy the anniversary themed game on Erangel and Livik. Players can pick up a folded mountain bike and carry it in their backpacks. The bike does not need to be recharged or refilled and makes virtually no noise while riding.

Additionally, a brand new aerial battlefield is introduced, where players can defeat enemies and wear colorful outfits. The battlefield can only be used during the first five minutes of matches.

2) Supply Stores

The number of Supply Stores in PUBG Mobile has increased significantly and their location has been adjusted. Both AWM and Ghillie Suites have been removed from Livik and Erangel's Supply Shops. The cost of consumables has also been increased.

3) New Arena

A new arena called Royale Arena: Assault will be available from 7 April 2022 at 2:00 (UTC+0). This is a 4v4 game mode that you can enjoy on Livik and Erangel. A random location will be chosen as the battlefield, and the first team to reach the elimination target wins.

4) New Season

Cycle 2 Season 5 will begin on March 22, 2022 at 2:00 (UTC+0) and continue on May 18, 2022 at 23:59 (UTC+0). There will be new 4th Anniversary-themed missions for players to participate in.

5) New Royale Pass

The 9th Moon Royale Transition – Cosmic Conflict will begin on March 22, 2022 at 2:00 (UTC+0) and will end on April 19, 2022 at 23:59 (UTC+0). Players will receive the Wukong Prime Set, Fluorescent Flash Set and more.

Other features

  • A large-scale resource camp called Vibrant Plaza has been introduced, where players can check out the Bicycle Exhibition and other special anniversary areas.
  • Added a Vehicle Radar that can be used to quickly find nearby vehicles.
  • The Military Base on Erangel has been upgraded.
  • A new weapon, the FAMAS, was introduced.
  • Payload 2.0 has been removed and Metro Royale: Reunion will be available from March 28, 2022.
  • Cheer Park's design has been upgraded and a new racing game has been introduced.
